Three local artists perform live, improvised electronic compositions responding to and inspired by the plant life inhabiting the 2nd floor of 3457 Waialae Avenue.
(Admission: donation/pay what you can) All donations will go directly to the artists.
Max High @maxhigh01 is a Honolulu-based multi-instrumentalist and electronic music producer. Max approaches music primarily as a meditative practice by turning loops into extended musical explorations. He’s expecting his first album release on vinyl, which is set for November 2023 via local label Aloha Got Soul.
Travis Sasaki @sa.sa_studies is a designer & bookstore owner (@bas_bookshop) by day, and synthesizer hobbyist by night. Without any particular goals in mind he enjoys learning about the science of sound synthesis and exploring the audible capabilities of the hardware.
Duncan Dempster @smallerclusters is a Honolulu-based artist working primarily in print media, with occasional forays into sculpture, woodworking, and sound design. In addition to being the former executive director at Honolulu Printmakers .
